I thought it would be a good idea if you would give gold incentives for people to donate... like 100 gold or something. I think a lot of people would be more inclined to dontate with an incentive in front of them. You'd have to make an announcement when you reached the needed amount for the upgrades, but it seems like that would be cool, wouldn't it? I suppose you could offer ranks too, if you thought that would be a better reward. What do you think?
