Need some help with my PS3

When im playing online my processor keeps beeping, its like the start of the sound it makes when you turn it on. Im a little worried because i dont want it to pack up. I haven't had any problems with the latest firmware update so i know thats not causing the problem.

Hmm, i haven't heard that one before.... I would probably call Sony and in the meantime, back up my hard drive just in case. Are you sure it's the processor? Mine will beep sometimes if it shuts off weird or I get a lock-up...

How many times does it beep? 3 beeps can mean an error.

It beeps around 2/4 times.
Sometimes it doesn't do it though thats why im worried.

Usually the most i ever hear is 3 beeps.... yeah, i would def back up the hard drive and call Sony! It's odd that it does it during online play... I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure it's the PS3 beeping and not, say, a modem? If it is the PS3, then maybe it's something to do with your connection.

I keep getting frame rate errors :/ its glitching up online. Its not my connection cause i tested it. i better get on the phone to sony

Ahhhh, that sounds A LOT like what happens to some people who change out their hard drive. Have you changed it recently? It has to do with data transfer rate and the fact that PS3 uses a slightly older method than the HDD's they use now. Had the same problem when i upgraded to a 500 gigger.

nope if i remember its the 60g one and i have never played about with it. Im worried because i dont want to fish out 300 pounds for another one. I will try and search on google to see if my problem has happened anywhere else.
